2025 Changan CS35 review

The Changan CS35 is worth considering for small-SUV packaging. Its appeal depends on choosing the right regional version and trim rather than judging the badge alone. In Nigeria, the most useful comparison is the complete ownership package: the actual vehicle, a duty-paid price, warranty terms and dependable servicing.

The raised seating position is useful for visibility, but an SUV badge alone does not guarantee off-road ability. Compare tyre sidewalls, spare-wheel provision and actual ground clearance; large alloy wheels can make damaged roads harder on both tyres and your budget. For the CS35, pay particular attention to older CS35 versus later Plus specifications. Request a proper road test and inspect the precise vehicle you intend to buy; equipment and comfort cannot be guaranteed from a model name or photograph.

Our buying verdict is to prioritise a documented specification and after-sales support over extra screens or appearance packages. Price routine maintenance, tyres and commonly needed parts before committing, especially on an independently imported unit. The estimated naira range is a planning allowance, not a dealer offer, verified valuation or promise of availability.

Highs

+ Small-SUV packaging
